Question

Hi, my daughter has recently gotten the Kit pjs' for girls and the top seems to run smaller than the bottoms. The pants seem to be a little long and the top looks cropped. Has anyone else had this problem? She absolutely loves it and says its supposed to be that way but since Kits is a one piece I'm thinking its not. Thanks!

Yes we have that same exact problem to! Kit's top is super super short! The pants fit more like capris, (TALL family!!) but still the shirt seams a LOT shorter than it should be.

Same here. DD also got the Mystery Warm-up for Christmas. She needs small bottoms, med jacket, and large shirt. I ordered all med. We did send the pants back for a small but she wore the shirt before I knew it. It's really short. I was thinking of ordering a large when we get the new club stuff. Has anyone's DD gotten the shirt yet? How does it run?

I would say that yes, it is supposed to be cropped. I have found that American Girl tops run VERY small, and that the bottoms tend to be LONG (and a bit skinny). I always order AT LEAST one size bigger than my DD needs - sometimes two. At those prices the clothes better last awhile! Now, sometimes I have to roll 'em up - but I'd rather do that and have them fit for a bit. Also, I think the cotton ones shrink something fierce!
